  1. It depends on what you mean by good coverage. All plans are slightly different. It also depends on your ages. Company A may have a lower premium if you are in your 20's while company B may be lower if you're in your 40's. It can also depend on your county or zip code. Company C may be better now but if you move Company D may be better. Visit a local agent that works with all the major companies in your area. The agent can find the best plan for your situation and budget and can explain what's covered and more importantly, what's not covered with all the plans. There is no extra charge using an agent.
  2. Yes, you can use the tool on my site to get quotes in Texas. It's a different answer (as was said) for different ages. Unicare, Aetna, United are good in Texas. Not a fan of BlueCross there. Had a client apply and she forgot to check 1 box (yes or no questions) and they kept the application (so she couldn't see the error and fix it) AND they kept her $25 application fee. click on the pickle here http://www.InsurancePickle.com for quotes of companies available in Texas.
  3. When researching Texas health insurance you might want to try and bookmark this site for research information, news, articles, insurance quotes, companies, links and more. It should have the resources to help you with your question and I would search it and get several quotes from different companies and pick the best one. http://www.healthinsurance-guide.net/
