Good/Cheap Secondary Health Insurance in Texas?
My grandmother is 65 but my grandfather is only 63 so he's not considered a S.C. yet ... what is good affordable secondary health insurance for them? They currently only have Medicare

- Secure Horizons offers plans to supplement Medicare in Texas. My mother had Secure Horizons and they were good to her.
- I have more of a comment than an answer. I think it is so screwed that people at that age should have to worry about how they are going to received the medical care they need. The only thing i can say is look into PPHD. Thats something that is advertised on the'MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW' and i believe its called the partnership for prescriptions . they'll pay for prescriptions for people that are in your grandparents situation. Prescriptions are usually the thing that keeps people from receiving the proper medical treatment because they are so expensive but the partnership for prescriptions really does help and not just for the cheap prescription either. Visit the montel williams show site(im sure he had one, doesn't everybody)and they can tell you alot more and they really do help alot and can probably tell about some other avenues you could look into as well.Maybe it PPPD but all the same i know its the partnership for prescription and i always forget about the last two letters but try them and good luck to you and your grandparents.
