What is the punishment for health insurance fraud? In California?

I'm not planning on it. I know someone who is... and want to know what they've got coming to them. There are children involved. She is crazy... she is a mother of three, and is trying to screw her soon to be ex husband every way possible. She wants a boob job... is trying to find a doctor to "claim" she had/has cancer. Her ex father in law is doing the research and has found this information out. He is reporting it to the insurance company.

1. If you're planning to do this, I recommend forgetting about it. Jail time and heavy fines will ensue.
2. If you're looking for a new home, free food, laundry service, etc.--go ahead. Those high walls with barbed wire and towers with armed guards might get to you after a while--but no one is stopping you.

4. Stiff penalty. Or jail, or both. If you squeak on them when they've done it, you can be rewarded!
5. They will Lose their children when they go to prison. Is that not enough to make them reconsider?
