do you have to be a florida resident to be eligible for welfare benifits like health care?

. Question Details: I live in pa right now and am moving to florida in feb and am currently on the gateway health insurance (the state free health care). When I move to florida I'm sure that i can't transfer that but will I be eligible for other state benifits? I'm unsure of this. Please help me.

1. there are homeless shelters in fla too. be sure to bring some bug spray with you though. we have bed bugs in fla with the nice weather and homeless people get them from being dirty. and there are a lot of deadbeat people in fla looking for handouts, so you would feel right at home.
2. Florida is a conservative state and does not provide welfare. Eg. No Parasites.
