- International Medical Group offers health insurance for non-US citizens traveling or working in any country. Rates are reasonable; however, they offer only very limited coverage for pre-existing conditions (after a two-year waiting period.) IMG products are underwritten by Sirius International, an AM Best A rated company (based on financial security.) You can get quotes and even apply online: https://www.imglobal.com/travelinsurance/index.cfm?IMGAC=224027&app_method=3&CFID=1892829&CFTOKEN=483307507f126fa-67D7270A-1143-EBE5-7617C5F1CC5197FD
- Well, each kid is going to cost you about $150 to $200 per month. As canadian citizens, I don't believe they're eligible for any assistance programs (read, welfare). You COULD ask your employer to add that cost in.
- I have a solution for you. Since you are living in the States all you need is a method of payment and everyone's birthdates. Don't need a ss# or anything and you can get the coverage you need for you and your family. Go to: http://www.qualitymedicalcare.org for more information! I hope that this helps!
