Do I need a special license in Florida to start an agency for Life & Health Insurance?

I will have my Life, Health and Variable Annuity license soon, but what does it legally take as far as licensing for an agency? Will the agents be directly appointed with each insurance company, or will they write for the "agent in charge?" Thanks

2. Well, you need YOUR license, and if you're working under a corp, the corp needs a license, too. Then you both get appointed. Then each agent you take on also needs to get appointed, after they have a license.
