What is the easiest way to get health insurance quotes without being harassed by sales people?

  1. just call and if they try to offer you, just tell them you are looking around and if they are the best for you then you will return the phone call. if they keep going, do what i do...say i know you have a manual your suppose to read but save us both some time and not go thru that. or just hang up! hahaha
  2. Go online and search.
  3. Online is a good way to start. However, you can get the "real rates & real network" info by looking in the phone book under health insurance & then call a local broker. Just ask if that agent is multi licensed & do they offer BCBS, Humana, United etc.. You will not be solicited & most agents who have been in the business for awhile, just want to place you in the right product for you. Keep away from agents who only offer 1 product. Ask "who do you sell for" then ask for multiple quotes from various companies.
  4. If you look into health discount plans, they are all one set rate per month. There are no claim forms to fill out, no deductibles, all conditions accepted, etc. A good health plan on the site is $29.95/month for your entire household. $39.95/month if you add dental, prescription, vision and chiropractic care to it. Good luck in your search!
