Health inssurance questions?
My mom is 58 years old and she has blood pressure and the insurance are turning her down because of blood pressure and over weight. My dad has great benefits from the railroad but once my dad turns 65 and my mom is no longer on his railroad. Well, she could stay on and it would cost her a pretty penny around 600.00 every month. What is the best health insurance? Low cost? Will AARP turn a person down with high blood pressure? Any advice would be great. Please be honest.

- AARP writes their policies through United Health and will turn her down for high blood pressure and overweight, in fact they are very strict. You'll want to visit a local independent agent to see if anything is available for her. Each company has different guidelines concerning her health conditions and the agent can find out if anyone will take her. There are some guaranteed issue policies available, if any are in your area the agent should know.
- I can help you with a program that will help your mom even though she has high blood pressure. This is a pre existing condition for which she will be turned down by insurance. The program is very affordable too. You may contact me for details.
