Does anyone know if Humana Military Insurance covers accutane?
We have the insurance you get when you retire from the military, it's basically the same as Tricare but it's called Humana Military or Tricare Continued Health Program...

- The source below is a link to their web site. There is a "contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
- Accutane is by prescription only...so if your MD chooses this drug as treatment, Humana will consider this a valid treatment... ...as to the cost depends on how you obtain it... If you can receive treatment at a military facility as a retired member then the cost will be minimal if any..if you get a Rx from a MD then the cost will be determined by where you buy it...drug storecost buffered by /with your insurance, the military (open to retirees) mai-order pharmacy (if they process accutane)* Note due to side effects those on accutane often require several followup appointments and often blood tests. My advice =CALL HUMANA and ask them
