can i travel to US if i am 28 weeks pregnant and have a medical certificate, valid tourist visa and insurance?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and am planning to visit US for a holiday. I have a valid tourist visa, a medical certificate stating i am fit to travel and a medical insurance in case of need. But don't know the entry requirements into the US for women who are 28 weeks pregnant? can i just travel? is there any policy prevents entry of 28 weeks pregnant women to US? do i need to have any special documents?

  1. Of course we read this and immediately suspect you want to come have your baby in USA
  2. "It is unfortunately true that simply by being older, you have had more chance to develop medical disorders such as diabetes, high blood pressure or other chronic diseases, which can affect pregnancy and birth. Research on the effect of age on childbirth also reports an increase in the frequency of pregnancy complications such as pregnancy-induced (gestational) diabetes , low lying placenta and premature birth. Aside from these increased risks, your maternity care may be influenced simply by the fact that you are an "elderly primigravida" or an "elderly multip". Even fit and healthy women over the age of 35 have more antenatal tests and more ultrasound scans, and more women of this age undergo an amniocentesis." The UAE has world class heath care - is it really worth the risk to you and your unborn child? To answer your question, it seems you have your "holiday" all planned out to be just under the third trimester and unfortunately it is unlikely that you would be denied entry.
  3. A visa is not a sure way to enter the USA, Immigration may or not let you in.
  4. 2 possible problem .. the airline may be nervous and refuse you boarding and the POE in the US may suspect you of trying for a anchor baby and will deny you entry
