Delta Dental covering Wisdom Teeth Extraction? Insurance People..help!?

Ok, so I finally decided to have my wisdom teeth removed. I have Delta Dental insurance, which I've never had before. At the consultation, I was told that the cost of the procedure would be about $1200 for two teeth and anesthesia. Delta will cover only a part of the procedure (which is okay) but it won't cover the $400 charge for anesthesia at ALL. This means that it will cost me $650 out of pocket to have my exreeeemely painful wisdom teeth removed...which, being that I am a 19-year-old full time student, I CANNOT afford! So, has anyone ever had this problem with Delta Dental? I reviewed my paperwork, and it seemed very specific that anesthesia was covered for all medically necessary oral surgeries. If the anesthesia is covered, the procedure will be about $250...which I can probably swing. Can any insurance gurus give me any advice as to how to communicate with my insurance company about this issue? If I don't get these teeth out, I'm going to go insane, they hurt terribly.
