- u will lose your insurance. so you either need to get a job wiht a good insurance plan or go ask your parents to put u on their plan. if you are in school you can stay on ur parents insurance plan for not much more money but u hjave to b in school
- Welcome to being an adult. Just like the rest of us, you have to get out there and earn the money to buy the things you want - including medical care, or health insurance.
- ~~If your parents have group insurance through week they can add you at open enrollment (you would need to pay the extra cost). Otherwise you need to get an individual plan, and good news is it is very inexpensive for young healthy people. So if you can't get on your parents, then talk to an agent in the area you live in and go over the different options.~~
- If your parents have health insurnace under the new law in 2010 you can be covered until age 26 even if you are not in school, even if you live away from home, and even if you get married. Your parents have to request their insurer to put you back on the policy and most likely that would happen during their open enrollment.
