  1. The only thing required by law, is workers comp, and only if they have any employees. Most insurance companies will want them to have errors & ommissions and general liability coverage. Any landlord for office space, would also want general liability coverage.
  2. If you have a physical office you would want to have a Business Owners Policy (BOP) that covers your business personal property and general liability. Even if you don't have an office you would want a professional liability policy, sometimes referred to as errors and omissions. Other insurance might be: Auto Workers Compensation Health Disability
