- Appx 3% of people are selected for body scans. Pat downs are administered to anyone who opts out of the body scan, and to anyone who sets off the metal detector or has anomalies in the body scan. I believe all Los Angeles area airports have body scanners.
- Get over the body scan thing. It is harmless. They only pat you down if you refuse the body scanner or they see something suspicious on the scanner. It is all for the flyers' security. Do you really think that TSA has the time or inclination to leer over fuzzy pictures of body outlines?
- i think you have it backwards you seem to think they search you after the flight you said you are Flying TO los angeles they do not search you After your flight they search you BEFORE your flight so it would be depend on the airport you are flying from if that airport has body scanners or Metal decetors
