1. is this a commercial health insurance or are you asking about state insurance (like Medicaid)
2. yes medi-cal will cover a mother for all her prenatal care and post natal care for atleast 60 days after baby is born, just go down to dept of social services or go online and apply, u can also go to dr first once u get a positive test the dr will give u a form called 'presumptive eligibility' it allows the drs to see u before u apply for medi-cal because ur preg and they know that u will be covered becuase all preg women are. so just find a dr that take medi-cal and make and appt the sooner u get prenatal care the better
