Two Dental Insurance Plans UK?

I am currently under a 12 month contract for my own personal Dental Insurance plan to help me with NHS dental costs. However, I have also just started a new job and get NHS Dental Cover as one of the benefits. I have a crown procedure coming up and neither of the policies will cover the cost completely (as I want a white crown as opposed to a gold coloured one) and I'm just wondering about the legality of claiming for the procedure on both policies?
