Do you believe the TSA grope and body scan are effective?

Knowing terrorists can hide contraband inside their body through surgery or other means that would be impossible to detect from grope and body scan combined.

1. yes but it's stupid to be doing it to normal people. they should only do it to muslims. that would make much more sense.

5. So what do you suggest? Cutting everyone open and looking for contraband before they board the plane? Not really sure what you're trying to accomplish here...

7. I think there should be two different lines: One line for the paranoid and want to be x-rayed, poked, prodded, and felt up. And then a line for the cowboys where anything goes. Come on, passengers will pummel anyone that gets out of line on a flight.
8. I don't know, but my 82 year old mother enjoyed hers on Wednesday. If they truly want to feel up an 82 year old than god bless em. They made her day. Only complaint she had was it was a woman, not a cute young man.
9. Here's the dilemma as I see it: 1) If someone had explosives, the explosives could be in a powder form. Body scans and pat downs won't find powders. 2) Since the cargo isn't scanned, why are we going through this dog and pony show?
10. ...those methods are very effective in their own way; security of the country by all means comes first and foremost over petty complaints..don't like it, don't fly.
