Scan Medical Insurance

I have had a hight white blood cell count and excessive tiredness for 18 months. Can anyone help?

My problems started approximately February of 2005. At the time I was extremly tired regardless of the amount of sleep I got, bruising for no apparent reason and had pains (maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10 on the pain scale) in my right abdomen (near the ovary). The only thing that has shown abnormal is my WBC. Normal for me in an 8 and it has been bouncing between an 11 up to a 21. I have had every blood test possible (according to my hemotoligist) a bone marrow biopsey, a full body cat scan, and an ultrasound. Everything has come back normal. My exaustion is just getting worse. I sleep between 10 - 15 hours a day. Even when I am awake, I am barely awake and could go back to sleep at any time. Over the past 6 months, I have ovulated once (in January). I am using 2 seperate ovulation kits, so I am fairly sure it is accurate. I went from a normal menstrual cycle of 31-35 days down to a 15-20 day cycle. The "ovarian" pain has gotten much worse and on both sides. Please help, the DRs are baffled

  3. I have seen it in this site: http://charitynetwork.blogspot.com I realized how lucky I am and blessed. Have a nice day! Thank you
  4. Are you seeing an OB/GYN about this? It sounds like you should. Nobody can diagnose you over the internet, but I had a friend with similar symptoms years ago and she had a cyst on her ovary. Keep in mind that things in your body would have to be a certain size to show up in a cat scan, so a small cyst may not be diagnosed that way. I would talk to an OB/GYN.
  5. Are you on a birth control pill? That would probably help with the irregular cycles. I would see an OB-GYN for the possible ovarian pain. (I wound up having a cyst the size of a grapefruit that had to be surgically removed, along with the ovary.) I have trouble with sleeping too much too. Are you active when you're awake? Could you be depressed (or already in treatment for depression) - that can make you sleep too much.
  6. maybe endometrosis or mono????
  7. You are fighting somekind of infection with a white blood count that high, I would have my urine tested for kidney cancer. Some cancers can only be detected thru the urine! That's what my brother died of and if he would of not just had his bloodwork done but a complete kidney workover he would be aliv today!
  8. I assume leukemia has been ruled out and if the wb cells are normal, this may indicate an infection. have you seen an infectious disease specialist
