is there a health insurance company in los angeles california thats free or cheap?

I dont have enough money to afford regular health insurance any suggestions?

1. Yes, welfare health insurance - Medi-Cal. You can apply online.
2. ~~There is no cheap or free health insurance in our area. Therefore, you can apply for medical (but you have to meet income requirements and must have dependent children to qualify. Being close to L.A. there are many medical universities that may help you out of you need medical help for a serious problem right now. There is UCI, USC, and UCLA. Also call your county health department. They have many programs for what is called "the working poor" and can help you with medical care with sliding scale doctors and hospitals. ~~
3. L O L - nothing is free unless you qualify for Medi-Cal. You can get medical care for a small fee at any community or low income clilnic.
