Adding a medical condition to travel insurance?
I've got a bad knee at the moment which is starting to play up, i've got travel insurance out for my holiday in June. If I go to the doctor to get my knee checked would I have to notify my insurance company so they can amend the insurance, if so would there be extra costs and would my knee be covered when on holiday?

- Travel insurance rarely covers pre-existing conditions, so it is likely that any issues with your knee would be excluded from the policy. If you have already seen or intend to see a doctor about it then it would be classed as a pre-existing condition. Check the small print on the insurance and see what it says about pre-existing conditions - pay special attention to anything under the heading of "exclusions".
