  1. Self Employed makes it tricky, but for the most part, it has been concluded that premiums will drop or stay the same. The good thing is that every credible study says that premiums will NOT go up significantly.
  2. You are lucky. Currently, most people who have to pay for their own insurance pay over $1,000 p/month.
  3. Yours will be going up, once the insurers can no longer exclude for pre-existing conditions all rates will go up.
  4. I doubt you are telling the truth.
  5. $205 a month? Impossible! I've shopped for insurance for the self employed. What do you have a $50,000 deductible? Studies indicate down or remain the same.
  6. I pay $209.64 a month for mine with my wife included, but We can expect that to triple if progressive liberals "save" us from evil insurance companies.
  7. That must be an extremely chintzy policy.
  8. Premiums will sky rocket on all insurance ( to put them out of business ) ... This is a power grab by the Gov't ( are there people still believing that the gov't cares about them ... haha ... I think your $205/ month payment will go away eventually , but your taxes will go up thousands of dollars / yr to pay for Obama care ... At least until it goes bankrupt ............ I think the braindead libs think they're exempt from the costs , or that it will only cost people a few hundred dollars a yr ........ out
  9. I am no fan of Obamacare, but something does need to be done. No matter how cheap your health insurance costs are now there will come a day when your health will deteriorate and you will find yourself unable to get coverage at a price you can afford. If you live long enough that is inevitable. When that day arrives you will worry that all you have worked for will be lost if something serious comes along. That means your home and any inheritance you hoped to leave to your children some day too. Then you will see that your neighbor who has nothing and never did will receive the same health care that you have just given up everything for. That is just plain wrong. We all need to shed this selfishness and realize that any of us can be in the situation where our health is bad. Together we can make things better by sharing the costs of health care, but divided we are destined for misery.
