Travel Medical Insurance?

I'm going overseas for 2 months and need to purchase travel medical insurance. Which is better: HTH Worldwide Travel Gap or IMG Patriot International?

1. Depends on where you're going. Make sure the country you are going to does not cover tourists. Most countries in Europe do cover tourists. You will need to get the full details of any policy you are considering and compare the coverage line by line.
2. First of all, do you have insurance now? If so, will it remain in place while you're overseas? Are you a student? If you answered yes to questions 1 and 2, you might not need to purchase additional insurance. Check your policy to see if it has coverage for travel. If you answered no, then you need to call the embassy (or a similar institution) in the country where you will be.
