Florida health insurance premium contribution % required by employer?
Does anyone know what the minimum percentage premium contribution is that an employer must make on a group plan in Florida? This link says its 50% in Florida. So where are you people getting zero? http://www.wavrock.com/individual-family-health-insurance.asp To FLOWER: You need to practice comprehensive reading then. Under Point #1 in that link, it clearly says 50% in Florida. If an employer offers you a group plan in Florida, by law they must contribute 50% of your premium. This only applies to the employee, not his or her family.

- 0%...there are no requirements for the employer to make contributions or even offer health insurance.
- Zero. An employer isn't required to contribute ANYTHING to the group health plan.
- health-quotes.talk4fun.net - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
- I went to your link and looked up group health insurance. It says nothing about the percentage of employer contribution to the health plan. As far as I know, allowing for state to state differences, that is up to the employer.
