Can anyone help me with tension headaches?

Hi there, I have been having headaches for 14 months now.. woke up one morning and with a tight, pressure feeling across my brow bone and on my forehead.. It hurts to look at bright lights and I sometimes find my vision blurry or hazy.. I have had my eyes checked (no problems-perfect vision), CT & sinus scan, MRI, Full body muscle and bone scan, Blood tests, Been to a neurologist, chiropractor, osteopath, pysio, 3 different doctors, stopped the pill, healthy diet, 4-5 days of exercise, No type of panadol or pain killer works or even dims the pain, I find it very hard to calm down and de-stress, I constantly feel exhausted and tired... even with a perfect 8 hr sleep, I just want to wake up with a positive feeling, no pain... and energised! Right now it feels like every morning i wake up with a hangover! please help me... any ideas how to cure? I drink too much water.. and exercise alot... i love the outside and i will not take anymore pain killers! i have visited too many doctors and have no answer... about 100 people have told me to drink more water and eat healthy and sleep well... which is all i do these days... i am always in pain so i do not want to go out much... since my headaches started i also started getting bad blemishes on my chin from stress i'm guessing... but will not go away! stress is what i know best :(

  1. Take Ibuprohpen and Acetaminophen at the same time..they are two different pain killers so you can take two of each. Ibuprophen you can take two every six hours and Acetaminphen you can take two of those every four hours. Other than that you should also see a doctor, until then these meds will help you out a great deal!

  3. Hey Lucy You seem to be describing migraine headaches, but you are seeing a lot of doctors and going through an incredible amount of testing, Do NOT double up on pain killers! This little trick may take the edge of the pain now, but destroy your liver and stomach. If your blood pressure is in the normal range, and you are drinking all eight glasses of water every day, try staying off caffeine based drinks, get some fresh air, more exercise and sleep. The exercise is important. Minimum one hour a day. Find a way to get your heart rate up. Great stress reliever and well as getting the blood circulating. Me
