What are some clubs I could join to get association group health insurance?

I don't have group health insurance through my job, and I am being turned down for individual coverage due to pre-existing conditions. I know some clubs and non-profit organizations offer group insurance to their members- for example, the AARP offers it to members over the age of 50. I'm only 30, but I need health insurance. Please help! Actually I'm wrong, the AARP health insurance is individual coverage, not group coverage, which means they can deny people with pre-existing conditions. There must be SOME group coverage out there that people can join... but where is it?!?
