Scan Medical Insurance

Can you get travel insurance that covers just one of your pre-existing medical conditions?

I live in the UK and have two pre-existing medical conditions but I only want cover for one of them. Is this possible? I have been told that I either have to cover all pre-existing conditions or none at all and I'm not sure if this is true. I am guessing that not disclosing everything isn't a good idea as the insurance company might use that as an excuse to not pay out should I need to make a claim? Thanks!

  1. You can't choose what conditions you want to cover. It either covers them or it doesn't.
  2. If you've found travel insurance with coverage for preexisting conditions, it really IS all or nothing, and lack of disclosure flat out voids your coverage.
