in them full body scans in aiports can the see whats underneath you underwear?

i went on holiday to ireland last weekend and didn't want to go through the full body scan just incase they could. \sound silly i know but you never know!!!!!

1. Yes they can. That is the point, so they can see if you are hiding things inside you clothes. They can see a clear outline of genitals, but the images are destroyed immediately. And after about 10 minutes, I can guarantee they will be bored of seeing naked people. It's been all over the news. It was going to be voluntary, but what with Christmas Day I don't think it will be now.
