How much will the full body scanner stop people from going places?

I know this was type of scanner is widely available in the united states. Just a week ago we are starting to see them in our canadian Airports. So my question is how much will it effect tourism? Would you rather have a pat down instead of the full body scan? So in my opinion i think i rather have the pat down because those images that the airport security see could well be on the internet! who knows what those sickos do but i rather get pat down.

1. It's hard to say whether full body scanners will affect travel. If any of those images show up on the internet, the trial attorneys will have a field day. As far as looking at my image from scanner, that's their problem, not mine. I could care less.
