What does everyone think of those full body scan at airports?
Scattered throughout the states and some other countries, are full body scans at airports. They can see through clothes and underwears for "security" measures. Sometimes the scans are used just as secondary check, when they find it the need to use them. But other times, it is the main check they do. They said the face is being blurred out, and the people looking at scans is not actually on your side. As muslims, what do you think of such procedures? Should we have the choice to refuse to enter such body scans? I personally never been to an airport, but just wondering. I think it's awefully wrong to scan the body in such a way.... Give me your opinion!!! Well nothing to hide .... i have my body i want to hide! That's the reason I wear hijabs ... Oh thanks about my baby !! He is 19 months old now :) Well nothing to hide .... i have my body i want to hide! That's the reason I wear hijabs ... Oh thanks about my baby !! He is 19 months old now :)

- Asalamalakum sister/brother, I hope you are doing well today, I am comfortable with that because I dont want the plane to blow up in mid air. I hope I have helped, Basil
- Ur baby is sooo cute mashallah...
- everyone freeks out at airport wen i was of to kenya someone just said "bomb!!" and everyone went mental and he just said "i was joking!!" and everyone was still going nuts running around lol full body scans give everyone a peace of mind if you got nothing to hide then you shouldn't be bothered
- I would rather stay alive, so I don't mind.
- well they gotta take care of their country. But it's too much.
- I don't like the fact that some strange man could be looking at me, even if it is just for "security" reason. But I don't like a full body pat down either even if by a women. I guess I can understand their concern and they are doing what they have to do, so I have no choice but to deal with it if I am going to fly.
- I think it is a good idea that they do the full body scan but as a woman i rather have that a woman do it then a man. I think it is better since what happend couple days ago with that man who had bomb with him when he went to America can't remember his name now. So i say yes to full body scan.
- Better than being blown up!!! I would put my safety before privacy concerns.
