Does Delta Dental Insurance cover dental implants?

1. Delta has so many plans that it is impossible to tell you. Call the toll free number and speak to a customer service rep. Give them your policy number and they will tell you for sure.
2. Read up the section of what is covered under your Delta Dental Insurance. A little booklet that comes with the insurance documents will have the information. It should provide you the answer else call up their rep to ask if your implants are covered. My understanding is that most dental insurance/health insurance don't cover implants unless your premiums are sky-high. Anyway no harm in asking and getting things clarified. Also, you can get more information about what aspects may be covered from your dentist. Like my dentist told me that certain aspects of surgery are covered under health insurance. It's not easy to get them to accept because the health insurance will say that is oral surgery is not their area and the dental insurance will say that surgery is not that their area of coverage. Again, no harm in trying.
