Scan Medical Insurance

Need to find medical insurance for parents, need your help with finding.?

I don't know what insurance is good out there now for my parents that covers their medical, dental, and vision. Blue cross and Kaiser dont take new patients who are over 55 .

  1. See an insurance broker that handles individual health plans.
  2. Which BlueCross? Most insurance companies will take folks all the way up to age 64. As the first person said just find a broker. Brokers are free to use, the plans cost the same through them, they know what's available, they know which companies are better for this and that, and at claim time they're on your side. So, if you're having an issue with a claim they'll tell you straight what's what. Get a broker by searching for "(your state) health insurance broker" and just make sure the 'about us" section of their web site shows a physical address. If it doesn't then move on to another. Also, make sure they're showing you multiple plans. I can't tell you how many times people have called my office AFTER they've bought some discount plan.
  3. Here you can get quotes for private insurance: http://www.simplyinsurancequotes.com/healthcomparison.html?id=xyo0tt24m009 more at: http://www.getinstantcover.motoclassica.co.uk/AmericanHealthQuotes.html?id=xyo0tt24m009
  4. Medical, dental, and vision are all seperate policies. Depending on your parents ages and health, a good low/no deductible plan, will cost $700 a month per person, if they're perfectly healthy and not overweight. You need to talk to a local agent, to help balance coverages and costs. And you're not going to find dental/vision coverage policies that pay out more than they cost.
