What happens during a full body scan at a dermatologist?
What do they look at? What do they look for? How much privacy is there? Is it just one doctor that does it? Does anyone know from experience? Thanks that's a really great answer. Does anyone else have anything to add?

- At my derm, there's generally the doctor and an assistant who jots down notes in the room. You've got to put on a gown, and the doc will check pretty much everything.. The doc will check your scalp, face, body, toes, etc.. even the bottom of your feet-- for suspect moles or lesions.. It only lasts a couple minutes, and generally the doc will just move the gown as necessary.. you're not really fully naked for longer than a couple of seconds... It's definitely a good idea to go..worth a couple minutes discomfort to know you are safe and healthy.
