Can it Be True That Obama Wanted Our Military to PAY for Their Own Medical Insurance ?

Regardless of your political views...you must read this. It shows our president's true colors. Unbelievable!!!! And it was checked on Snopes and he did propose this. HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO LET THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES..........SEND THIS TO EVERYONE TO SHOW JUST WHAT HE THINKS OF OUR MILITARY WHO FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY AND GET HURT PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM!!! Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President20Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. 1. Obama's basic theory is to get rid of the military in the future and since it is volunteer `~the government will take away benefits like a paid insurance plan~and also many other cost saving expenses This is a big mistake to gut your military
2. I was talking to a US army soldier on leave on a plane and he said he heard about that and it made me sick to my stomach...that man is messing with the wrong people and rights...God bless our troops for fighting for our country and I hope to be one of those troops one day! God bless our troops!

5. Technically, everybody pays for everybody else's insurance. Say you have a single mother who has been paying steady premiums every month for years. She never goes to the doctor, never really uses her insurance. Well the premiums she pays, are then used for the obese man in his mid fifties who is always at the doctor for serious health problems. Regardless of who is paying, the health care system is at a serious fault at the moment and it truly needs repairing -- with much less government involvement though. I DO think it is wrong to take medical insurance from the armed forces individuals. It isn't ethical to put a man in a direct line of fire and danger, then go on to say that even though that is where the government wanted him, he must pay for all injuries done to him by the opposition. However, I do not know how much of your post is true, so I just offered my take on the issue if it were to come up seriously.
6. I'm a conservative Republican, and Obama did consider making military men and women pay for insurance, but there's no way in hell Obama said the things in your post. He's not that stupid. Things like this is just ammunition for the left.
