What is good/cheap insurance for health && dental?

I know NOTHING about insurance, and were looking for insurance for a family of 3!

1. haha...good and cheap don't exist, unless you qualify for some kind of program. About teh cheapest you will find for major medical for a family will be $1,000 a month and that's without dental. Check with your employer to see if they have a group plan you can get on.
2. Cheap you won't find. Your best bet is to see an insurance broker that handles individual health plans. He/she can give you alternatives and costs.
3. Lone Ranger shouldn't answer questions without knowing any details. If you're young and healthy and live in my state you're looking at $300/month. Dental is $150/year. The second answer is correct. Find an insurance broker that does business in your state.
