Health Care in California for those without Insurance?

How can I go about getting some health care in California? I want health care for my pregnant wife. I just moved back to the USA, and I dont have a job yet, or health insurance. I would like to sign up for community health care or something similar, hopefully cheap. Any idea where to turn?

2. There is a program for pregnant women called AIM. (Aid for infants and mothers) It is for those who have no health insurance but earn more that 200% over the poverty line. IF you do not earn more than 200% you can apply for medi-cal and healthy families for the baby. If you go to this phone # your wife can go to a clinic near you to get (presumptive medi-cal) 1-800-257-6900 You put in your zip code and it will give you a list of providers in your area. have a paper and pencil ready She makes an appointment and they can sign her up for medi-cal right then. 3. Delivery costs are high. You will want to get your own cheap health policy quick. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price.
