48hrs after a CT scan with contrast medium I have developed a body rash. How long can I expect this to last.?
The CT scan was looking for lymphomas as a couple of skin lesions removed from my arm recently may be cutaneous lymphomas or nothing more than pseudolymphomas. The rash developed four days ago and is still very prominent; although it is not so itchy now. Many thanks vhm

- You need to go to the doctor. Your rash has been there too long. You probably need Benadryl and a shot of steroids for the inflammation. Make sure you inform your doctor of your allergy to the contrast. The next reaction could be very serious.
- need to inform your physician at once. If you have to have another contrast exam, bad things could happen.
