Which health insurance providers do police departments in texas offer their police officers?

I am in the process of becoming a police cadet with the san antonio police department. I would like to know what health insurance provider they use.

1. Blue Cross/Blue Shield is the predominate provider, however, there are many others. Call HR at SAPD and they can tell you.
2. Quit wasting my tax dollars on frivolous expenses.
3. It depends on your rank and position. It is typically Bluecross, and blue shield though.
