2. My site gives free ones and doesn't require personal information, but then again I can't think of any place that charges for them. Actually I don't know anything that charges you to find out the prices of what's for sale.
3. There are plenty of sites that will provide free quotes (in fact most of them do). Here's a tip, though: if you're just curious, anyplace will do (see below for a few). If you're serious, though, then go to www.nahu.org and find a local broker who will help you find the best, most cost-effective plan for your needs. There are a lot of companies, some good and some less so, and a lot of plans, so unless you're really confident/competent in the health insurance arena, get some advice. Also, be sure to stick with a "name brand" company (Aetna, Humana, Blue Cross, United H'care, etc.) and not an "off brand" that looks to good to be true (you may get burned).
