Graduating from college and need affordable health insurance. Suggestions Please?
I'm graduating from college in Chicago this year. My parents are kicking me off their insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions for affordable health insurance?

- State Farm, in my experience, has some of the best options through Assurant. If you're willing to start your own insurance before you graduate you can use their Student Select program and that will continue after graduation. If you have a job set up where you will get benefits then you can use State Farm's short term policies until you start. If neither of these are the right option for you, there are plenty of other plans that the agent can help you search to find the right coverage at the right price. The number is 888-323-7070
- Go to ehealthinsurance.com. They can give you quotes lots of different carriers. You can also call the carrier you are currently with and get a quote directly.
- I would definitely agree with that. I signed up for student select through State Farm as well and I am still using it after my graduation. Its very affordable and I plan on switching to their individual medical option when I get a job.
- Your best bet...get a job with benefits. You pay the least and most likely, you get the best coverage.
- Thanks to the internet, you can easily perform a comparative evaluation of medical insurance quotes from a considerable number of medical insurance companies.
