Do nuclear medicine procedures affect ct scans?

I am about to have a full body nuclear medicine examination with Technetium injection for examination for bone tumor metastasis. My doctor ordered at the same day a ct scan for upper and lower abdomen . The thing is that he had them programmed it in such a way that i will do the ct scan after the technetium injection and before the measurement with the γ camera. On top of that they will give me gastrografin in the ct scan. From what i have read i see a conflict in the 2 examinations. Does anybody know which is the case?

1. %100 sure a Tc-MDP injection (for the bone scan) will not affect the CT scan, nor will the CT contrast affect the bone scan. Its a very common practice to do the CT scan in between the bone injection and the bone scan. Just for your benefit, you might want to ask the Nuclear tech to leave the IV catheter in your arm so they can use it during the CT. You'll save yourself a stick.
