Need a neck scan. Does my whole body have to be inserted into the MRI?

I'm claustrophobic- Need a neck scan. Does my whole body have to be inserted into the MRI?

  1. Ask for an open MRI if you are claustrophobic.
  2. They will do it from the waist up. It is not that bad, I do not like small spaces either but it was not as bad as I thought.
