Texas state health insurance?

what is the name for Texas state health insuranced? for example...California = medical. And is it hard to get? My mother has cancer and is currently on medical. We want to move to Texas but insurance is a problem....she's obviously covered here, so it's safer for her to stay here. I just want to know if it's easy for her to get if we were to move there. thanks!
