Scan Medical Insurance

Has anyone ever gotten that full body scan done? How did you like it?

Where they check your heart and entire body for problems? If so do you know of any resonable places in Southern California? Thanks.

  1. Have your doctor order it and let insurance worry about it. It is a useful thing to do once in a while.
  2. Absolutely painless. Get your doctor to refer you.
  3. If you mean an MRI I have had one, and the newer scanners are much better than the older ones. It was alittle unnerving going into one, but the newer ones scan around your body. As for finding a place in SC, I would check with USC they would be able to refer you to a wonderful doctor. They would be the best resource for SC. I am in Oregon, so I wish I could be of more help. Good Luck!! I hope find what you need, and that the scan comes out clean.
  4. No problem except that it takes ages. You come out with a nice list of things you haven't got! I had it in a country with National Health but I should imagine in the States it would be expensive.
