Just got a full body Ultrasound done .....?

Hey guys just got a full body ultrasound done. The girl scanned all my tummy, my sides and my chest area. Just wondering why she would scan my chest area? Also, I asked her did she find cysts on my ovaries and I know she can't say but she just said that she took loads of pics for the doctor to look at. Just made me a little worried. I had to have a full bladder which was tough!! I was complaining of low back pain and pain in my thighs which the doctor tought might of been cysts. Can anyone who has been through this give me some information on what she did to put my mind at ease and why did she scan the chest area? (just underneath my bra)

1. She may have been looking for endometrial tissue. If you have endometriosis, the tissue can grow anywhere in your abdomen and cause some serious problems.
2. Hi; First of all don't get too scared now. There could be nothing wrong but if there are some cysts on your ovaries that called endometrioma (in some languages endometriosis) (= which is en ectopic uterine tissue) it can be on your breasts and in other organs such as liver and spleen and etc. So it should be checked but anyway without examining you I can't tell you more. And about endometriosis: it is treatable and there is nothing to worry about that kind of disease. So don't get frustrated right away. Just go to your doc and talk to her/him. Hope get well soon. MD.
