- depends on the policy some will some wont...
- There is normally a "waiting Period" for pre-existing conditions to be covered under a new Med plan . UNLESS you had been covered previousely for at least a specific amount of time and had coverage for the "Shots" you may have taken before, then you may need to wait for 6 months before coverage KICKS IN If you fail to infrm the New Med provider of a presnet conditon, they can cancel you in the future if its shown you were not truthful on your original APP. Some Group Plans do nat have a preexisting requirement waiting period, and you WOULD be able to get overgae ASAP... but that's usually on Work Group Health coverage.... Good Luck
- You don't say what kind of shots you need, but most health department offer at least some of what you need at a reduced rate. Here is a page to Florida Dept of Health page: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/ Use the drop down box to find the services available in your county. As far as Humana covering it, unless there is a medical necessity, usually they do not cover these types of immunizations. But the only way to know for sure is to call and ask.
- The answer could vary by person. It is alway a good idea to hear the suggestion from different sides and try to choose the best one. Here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info/free-online-health-insurance.htm is a good one i recommend.
