do you need to shave body hair before ct scan?

Abdomen and pelvis. It is actually called a CT Urogram.

2. Nope, have had several, and am as hairy as a baboon according to some people. Usually the only time you shave is for surgery. If you have body hair and they stick on those electrode patches for EKGs or whatever, you can use alcohol pads to remove them easily- though some nurses may try and get you to shave off little patches of hair.. Had 16 on once by the time I got through with a hospital stay when I had a suspected heart attack.
3. no, i have had mdct/mri scan .but i was dressed (they provided) when the scaning was done.they wanted to remove only jewellary if any,
