  1. It all depends on your particular plan, and where you live. Right now, Invisalign is $4500 for a full case, and $2500 for an express case. Only your doctor can tell you which category you fall under. Traditional metal brackets cost around $3500. As far as most insurance companies go, they usually only cover $1000-1500 of the cost. Most offices require a down payment equal to 1/3 the total cost. Then, you can make payments throughout the remainder of treatment.
  2. I have Aetna and Invisalign for the most part is usually considered cosmetic surgery. You'll just have to check with your dentist and hopefully they can refer you to a specialist. I just got my wisdom teeth removed and Aetna wouldn't have paid for it if my regular dentist removed the teeth. They would only cover it if I was referred to a specialist (which I was). Even still, it cost me $256.00 out of pocket, which was a heck of a lot better than the $2,000.00+ it would have cost otherwise.
  3. well you have to check with your insurance because I know with my insurance the ceramic braces and invisalign is not included so I ended up paying about $500 extra to get the ceramic braces on top and metal on the bottom. my insurance also covered 2500 of the braces.
