Does my insurance cover obesity surgery?
I'm over 100 lbs overweight, with medical problems due to this. I have Aetna POS II insurance. Will they cover it weight loss surgery? Can anyone recommend a good Gastric- Bypass surgeron? I l;ive in Illinois.

- re insurance call them. re surgery get a second opinion. my sister regrets the surgery have heard others do
- That will depend on your individual plan. Even plans with the same name don't necessarily have the same coverage - especially if it's offered through your employer. Employers can negiotiate individual elements of your plan. BTW - 100 overweight is probably not going to qualify you for the surgery. Most of the time people are a lot heavier than that before a surgeon will even consider it.
- Hi, I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work! A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at http://www.get2itnow.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
