In need or a free women's health clinic in brazoria or harris county texas...student with no health insurance
I am a full time student and single mom without any health insurance for myself. In texas, woman who are not pregnant or in need of monthly medication (already diagnosed) are not eligible for state medical coverage (medicaid). I am in desperate need of medical care and not sure what my options are. I am an excellent researcher however I keep running into dead ends. I need tangible ideas please--I can guess on my own :). Thank you so much, Sincerely, Determined and Desperate

- Email this person, her name is Tiff, and she works for Harris County. She helps people for a living. got_five@yahoo.com
- LOOK UP PLANNED PARENTHOOD SOME UNIVERSITIES HAVE IN CLINICS GO TO THGE COUNTY'S HOSPITAL AND AFTER THAT WORK OUT A REDUCED PAYMENT PLAN WITH THE SOCIAL WORKER THEY HAVE TO SEE YOU.
- planned parenthood. there payment plans are on a sliding scale. so if you dont make any money, you dont pay any money.
- I'm not from your area, but your college should be able to provide you with some assistance. Student Health Center: every campus has one, and they offer great discounts on medicines and care--no insurance required. Student services: your campus student services advisor should be able to direct you to a clinic that does what you need. Also, try the county health department...Your county should have one... I hope some of that will help you. Good luck!!
