blue cross, blue shield?

I have a medical insurance that I just switched to, blue cross, blue shield, what does it cover? because I called an eye doctor and they told me there were different types of BC/BS and I have no idea which one I have. if you could help me to figure out ways to figure out what kind of insurance it covers and how much they pay in bills and if they cover dermatology, eye doctors, stuff like that or if there was a way I could find out. thanks!

1. There are so many different types of plans within BC/BS that the best thing to do would be to call BC/BS and ask them if it is covered. There should be a number on your insurance card or you can try their website www.bcbs.com
2. go to the bcbs website, look for a doctor, they will ask for your three letter code on your insurance card, and any doctor covered will be listed by type of doctor.
